The 2021 Lexus LC is now better than ever. This premium sedan has been refreshed for the new model year, both in its design and its performance.
For the 2021 model year, the Lexus LC has reduced its weight by nearly 10 kg, which including using aluminum lower suspension arms, lighter suspension stabilizers, and lighter 21-inch rear wheels. With this weight loss, the 2021 LC offers a smoother, more refined ride.
The 2021 Lexus LC continues to offer a unique style that balanced function and comfort. Its interior craftsmanship is distinct, highlighted through flowing lines, a low instrument panel position, and narrow pillars for superior visibility. Its detail-oriented seat design offers components that help hold the driver securely while cornering.
This luxury coupe also now offers the following exterior colours: Caviar, Smoky Granite Mica, Atomic Silver, Ultra White, Infrared, Nightfall Mica, and the all-new Liquid Platinum, Flare Yellow, and Nori Green Pearl.
Under the hood, the 2021 LC will come with a 5.0-litre V8 engine that offers an output of 471 horsepower and 398 lb-ft of torque. It can go from zero to 96 km/h in just 4.4 seconds.

Letting your hair down in a Lexus is about to get a lot easier. The Japanese luxury carmaker recently confirmed that it will be offering a convertible version of its flagship LC sports coupe “in the near future.”
The new Lexus LC convertible was highlighted during
Britain’s Goodwood Festival of Speed in July. The brand showed off a prototype
of the car wrapped up in black-and-white digital camouflage to give consumers a
taste of what’s to come.
“Long, low and lean, the LC convertible will share the
coupe’s athletic proportions, but project its own, distinct identity,” Lexus
noted in a news release. The luxury brand went on to add that the convertible
will bring “a sense of completeness” to the Lexus model lineup.
The Lexus LC convertible will be the first droptop available
in the brand’s lineup since it stopped the production of the IS C in mid-2015.
Before that, Lexus sold the now-discontinued SC convertible.
There’s not much information around this new convertible
available at the moment, though Lexus has been hinting at this new model for
years. Back in January, the premium brand previewed the new car with the LC
Convertible Concept. It also showed off the 2014 LF-C2 concept with the idea of
a convertible RC coupe.
Once the LC convertible becomes a reality, stay tuned for more information on how you can test-drive this exciting new model here at Lexus Downtown.
